Rita Wasn't the death blow some had predicted. Rita proved to be the "storm that could have been," as it weakened before slamming into the TX / LA coast. Fortunately, our fragile petroleum economy won't be immediately crippled by Rita as the damage appears tobe minimal to most facilities, with some sustaining damage which may delay reopening.
